Hey guys.

Does any one know where the tach wire is and what color it is in the 2004 T3 Toyota Tundra?  I know that alot of ppl get it from the coil, but can you tell me where the coil is cause im not that automotive savvy but really good in electric part of it or if you can show me in a picture.  And others say that you can get it from the back of the instument cluster.  And how do you test for it with a DMM?

Thanx

you will need to go to the ecm for tach on most toyotas its behind glove box  and is normaly WHITE/ green or GREEN / WHITE 22ga wire but do not connect to anything until you check it ,a correct tach wire should have ac current that increases with engine speed not dc current
