p.s. If it isn't too late (I hate to say this) and if you can, take back the alarm. I have an 1800 and have had a 1000. All drift off frequency and range bites real quick. I sent the 1000 in to repair 3 times.

The 1800 has a retarded remote start feature where once you disarm by remote you have like 40-60 seconds to put the key in our it dies. Hate'd it. Really a nice way to get carjacked when your putting the baby in the back seat and the key is sitting in the ign.

Other wise the feature are good and aux channels are always there (2).
