I want to install a transponder bypass kit for a remote starter. I can't figure out how to remove the steering column cover without breaking it. I don't see any screws on the top, side or bottom of the cover. I do see two screws that hold the bottom half of the cover, but it's in between the steering wheel and column. Please help!

If I remember correctly, there are two screws directly behind the steering wheel. Sit in the drivers seat and look at the front of the plastic cover while turning the steering wheel and you will see them.

Yes, Jworm's right. Rotate the wheel and you'll see the screws. Then, the lower half of the shroud can be snapped down.

If you turn the steering wheel to just the right angle, there's an area just behind the wheel where you can insert a hook tool and tug down on the shroud----that way, if you make a mark, no one will see it.

Also, the ring for your transponder bypass must be on the face of the ignition switch----that is, against the whitish plastic part that lights up. If you just loop it around, it will not work.

I like to use a zip tie to make the ring smaller, so that it's the exact size to fit on the front of the ignition switch. It will rest there long enough for you to put the column back together, and then it will be held firmly in place.
