Getting ready to do an alarm install (Prestige APS25KB) in a 91' Honda Accord. Any advice, hints, comments, tricks,(things the install guide may not cover). Past problems? 12volt wiring diagram accurate? Thanks!!

Take your time.....and even though you have a wiring diagram, check to make sure it's correct

Good luck

Get a couple of diagrams and compare them (use the one on this site, as well as bulldogsecurity, and Design Tech). Check your wires with a meter to double check.

From my experience, don't make the dumb mistake of wrapping wires temporarily to see if it works with putting a quick piece of electrical tape on it. So many times I just wrapped the wires real quick to see if the connection was right, and they moved and hit a ground source, and I would kill a fuse.

No need for temporary connections....either it's right or it's not......just be confident in your work

This car shouldn't be much of a problem. I did my girlfriends 91 accord not too long ago. All wires are accessible and mostly on the left side of the steering wheel. is it a remote starter? No real tricks, just take your time and verify all the wires.
