I am on the market for a new remote start alarm for my 2003 Monte Carlo. I had the vx790 on my previouls vehicle. I've seen the m-3600(commando 870), hornet 554t, prestige 996, and the lynx 2000. They all look good online. Does anyone have any suggestions or issues to help me with my decision?

Go with the system where you will get a solid installation and good warranty if needed. The system you get may be good, but if it's not installed correctly, it will be your worst nightmare.
