Audiovox type sensor, install manual doesn't state proper mounting position, does it really matter? Flat, horz, vert, upside down? I don't know the internal workings so I really can't make a lodgicaly decision for the best and most perferable way. Thanks!

well ppl usually mounting to the steering column which is in a horizontal way, so it doesnt matter which side. but i find that hangin the sensor wires-side-up is effective also.
