I'm installing a window module, DEI 530T, in my 1987 911.  Any hints on getting the wires from the door to the pass comparment.  There is very little room between the door and the jamb and the existing wiring harness is really squeezed in place.  I'm reluctant to drill any holes but I don't see any alternatives

THANKS!  Bill

Hmmm....I've never worked on a '87 911 posted_image On my car, though, there's a plastic plug piece, where there's a male end on the outside of the door, and a female end on the other. I had to get those two pieces apart, and get the wire through there, then into the car. I never had to drill holes in the door. I would try as hard as possible to get the wires through what's already there. Maybe push a hanger through and attach some wire to it?
