I am installing a Hornet 554T and a PKH1 Bypass kit. Where can I find the the transponder module. It's not by the key switch and what looks like one is not matching the info on the bypass kit sheet. Help is appreiciated!!

is this the universal bypass with the key you have to give up? if so, are you trying not to use the antenna of pkh1 but tap into the acura's antenna instead?

This kit is the no NKR (No Key Required) type. I did one of these on a 2002 Accord with the PKH2 and the reciever was right @ the keyswitch. This one isn't.

Jeff or 12volt do you guys know of this or have worked on this car? this the wire diagram for the PKH1

the Prelude & RL have completly different colors but this kit is supposed to work on both.

I have not done a 2000 RL specifically, but I have done many Acura's and Honda's with the Bypass Kit modules. All of the vehicles have had the Immobilizer wires right around the steering column. Not necessarily close to the ignition but if you look for a small loom of wires near the column and cut it open, you should find the Immobilizer wires in one of the looms.

I think I found the module. there are two plugs.I unplugged one of them and it won't let the car start. This might be it but the colors don't match.
