Well DC has done it again after just 2 years the wiring is all new.

I did a basic alarm in a truck with no power locks so this is what i have so far.

most of the ignition harness is small like the 02-03 caravans .there are 2 -12 ga wires the rest are 18 or below.

12 + constant =  Red (small)

12+ switched = Pink/White (small)

Starter            = yellow( + )

Horn               = GREEN/ violet (- )

park lights  = white / gray  12+ in large harness left of brake pedal

door teigger = yellow / blue 12+ (like fords) in harness just below instrument cluster on the right side with the lower dash panel removed. This is dome light out not doorpins.

supposedly the doorlocks color will be Violet / blue with resistors but the computer at the dodge dealer didnt have resistance values.  there are no more books all the info is on cd so if you do dealer work make friends with the techs.

Brake switch is still white / tan thats about all i had time for so if you do a 2004 with remote start post here. I will be doing one next week so hopefully someone else is the guinea pig instead.

hey i know that on an 03 model the parking light wire is vio/yel  and its a negative trigger at the light switch.  i had alot of trouble with this...i found out you need a 1.4K ohm resistor to get the lights to flash.  is resistor needed to make lights flash on the 04 model?

no resistor needed for 04. and for 03  315 ohm works like a champ.

Strange, done a few, don't see much difference to the 03's, Not around here anyway.  This is what i know...

Parklights + in the harness middle drivers kick, next to brake BLACK / YELLOW most 03. Now I have to go to BLACK / YELLOW on the firewall, right next to the factory hoodpin switch looking bracket on 04's.(i don't have negative parklights on some starters i install and i'm lazy).

thats all, i have a lousy memory. If you want to know of anything in perticualar, just ask.
