The 2000 Explorer uses a reverse polarity system for the windows.  Can anyone shed some light on how I'd wire a rollup module to this type of system?  I've located all the wires, I just don't understand how it works..

In a 5-wire reversal rest at ground circuit, basically one motor wire "sees" 12v+ and the other wire "sees" 12v- for operation in one direction and the opposite for the other direction. Since the wires are always seeing 12v- thru the switch, the switch must be isolated from the rest of the circuit you are trying to energize, otherwise you will have a direct short to ground and fry the switch\and or motor. Basically, when you install a window automation system you are isolating the switch from the rest of the circuit. Simply follow the instructions provided with the mods and be sure to distinguish between the "switch side" and the "mptpr side" of the up\down wires you cut.
