Need help. I have a Crime Stopper Cs-9704RS alarm system with remote start. My 01 Yukon XL has a built in alarm and keyless entry.

How do I intrigrate the new system with the Old? I have seen the modules required in here.

What is the cleanest and simplest way to set up remote start and keyless entry, can I tap into the exhisting system? Do I have to eliminate the factory alarm?

Any recomendations on alarm systems that may work better than what I have?

Also, what systme does this truck have pass key or ??

The Yukon has Passlock II that will half to be overidin for remote start. A module such as a DEi 555L would work. You will half to pulse - on the lt green wire in the purple plug at the bcm to dis arm the factory alarm on start up and unlock.

its very similar to a grand prix with the keyless/alarm setup. you need to hit the factory disarm wire (check resources to be sure you get the right one) BEFORE starting. Set up double unlock pulse, so it disarms and unlocks in case you've armed the factory system.

My 02 grand prix has factory system disarm and rearm thru the bcm with my Autostart 1525SH. works great...
