Im trying to install a commando 357 alarm in a 81 pontiac grand prix and for some reason when I just hook up the power wire and ground wire the alarm just goes off..can someone tell me how to find the door pin switch?

Well the good news is it more then likely doesn't have an on board computer that you have to worry about the test light frying.

Use the dome light (or lights under the dash) if you cannot get to the door pin sw or if it is built into the door latch mech. Did you look on the side of the dash? I didn''t think they started hiding the pin switches till the 90's.
