I just installed a 530t into a 99 silverado with a sidewinder alarm. The problem is the the windows don't go all the way down or up. Well the driver window usually goes all the way down with the remote and with the factory switch. But it does not go all the way up with eiher the switch or when the alarm is armed. The passenger is actually worse than the driver. It stops frequently going down or up, even if you hold the switch. I have all three grounds for the 530 grounded at separated places and have a 16 gauge power wire to the battery. I believe I have enough current. Also all the dipswitches are up. If anyone can help I'd surely appreciate it.
Make sure that the trigger wire from the alarm has a signal output = to or longer than the time it takes for the windows to go up or down, otherwise the modules will only run for as long as there is power going to them before they shut off from the voltage spike.

Thanks Jeff.
I have the orange of the 530t hooked to the ground when armed wire of the alarm. It also doesn't go all the way up with the factory switch. This goes for both windows. It goes and stops. I have to press the switch several times to get it all the way up. It looks like the grounds are good and it looks like the power wire should be adequate. Could it possibly help if I were to put relays between the module and the motor to make sure that it sends enough current? I don't have an owners manual to this module, so I'm not real sure how the dipswitches work on the side.
If the truck had this problem before you installed the modules, then it will continue to have this problem even after you install the modules.

Hey ShaunD912,
Roll the windows all the way down then see if you can roll them up with a pulse on the orange wire by physically putting it to a true ground via a jumper or whatever. If it doesn't then tie the GRAY wires with the orange and try again. If it still doesn't go all the way then reset the dip switches, ALL OFF, for greater resistance. In a worst case scenario you might have to replace the internal resistors with different values.
