I am looking for the parking brake light indicator wire in a '96 Jetta. (The little light that comes on in the panel that indicates parking brake is on!) I would like to find this somewhere in the driver's kick amongst the wires, instead of having to tear apart the hand brake to locate that wire. None of the diagrams I have seen seem to have this, and I'm too cheap to go buy a manual to locate one wire (especially since my installation is nearing completion).

Any help would be awesome!

Andrew

Just and FYI in case. If you installing in a auto transmission car then ground the wire.

If standard then sorry can't help.
