I have a Compustar 2WFMAS alarm and am having trouble with the remote pager.

Every now and then, when I arm my car and then come back to it later to disarm it, it won' disarm. It seems there is no communication between the alarm and the pager as I set the shock sensor off to test it. If I am able to unarm my car, it SOMETIMES will go into passive mode (auto lock doors after a period of time), but not always.

What could cause this problem?

Its a compustar.

They seem to have a bad reputation with installers.

One common problem I've had is the antennas, try replacintg it and the problem should go away.

Compustar remotes are junk, i bet 50% of what we install have problems, never the installation just the remotes suck. best of luck, install something else!
