Most of the time it's because you did not power up an ignition or an accessory wire that needs to be powered. What year, make & model vehicle is this your installing into ?

this is on a 96 chevy blazer. The wiring diagram from this site show that it is supposed to have 3 ingition wires, but the rs only comes with 2 hook ups. Is This the Problem....If so how do I fix it??

Here is what I would do. I would buy a relay and hook it up as follows. Red Wire - Ignition output from brain Black wire - Ground (VERY GOOD GROUND) Yellow wire - 12volt constant supply (Ignition harness) Brown wire - Hook up to third ignition wire Orange wire - Do not use This is with a Directed relay and recomend you use these since they can handle a lot of current. Let me know if you have any more q's! ------------- 2005 Toyota Corolla S

Pin 30 goes to the 3rd igntition wire you need to power up Pin 87 goes to fused 12v+ power source Pin 86 goes to an Ignition wire Pin 85 goes to a (-)out when running wire from the RS.

So what you are saying is that the brown wire does not even need to be attached

Your 2nd IGN wire COULD also be a PINK/WHITE wire. Look for the WHITE wire first in the ignition harness first and if it's not there look for the PINK/WHITE instead. Also, make sure that the 2nd IGN wire coming off of the RS unit is a (+) output capable of 6 + amps . If this is a (-) trigger, then use this diagram to convert to a (+) output. ------------- Jeff
