Could (2) aftermarket car alarms be wired on one vehicle? If so what are some good pointers? Thank you in advance.

Sure they could... but why go through all that? Twice the protection? A better option(s) would be a better, more solid placement of the shock sensor, a microwave sensor, or maybe even going so far as installing pain generators inside the vehicle. But IMO, putting two aftermarket alarms in one vehicle is a waste of time and energy. I mean, were you planning on accessing the same wire connections for both systems? You're then looking at a very difficult install in terms of logistics. Hiding that clump of soldered (at least I HOPE that's how you're connecting it) wires will be BIG fun!

No benefits to having two systems other than extra features that one alarm has that the other does not.

Only thing I can think of is the BLING BLING factor... "Yeah I gotz two alarms on mah Sahturn" . All Saturns come from the factory with the best anti-theft system anyway, THEIR LOOKS!

I have a factory alarm. It is no good at all. It doesn't sound when the doors are opened. So that alarm will be done away with. The second alarm is awesome. It is a DEI which is installed now. It has the shock sensor, mercury sensor, it can also operate the windows up/down, pop the trunk and has remote start, but I don't want to wire that up because of it being a 5 spd. But the second alarm has the 2 way lcd screen. but it has remote start again that I will not use and 1 channel (turn on and off my neons). I will fell alittle bit more comfortable with dual alarms minus the factory. is there a way of wiring the remote start option to do an accessory? I really do apprecaite all the replies. What will be my best bet?

thank you
