    i installed a command start / alarm unit  (designtech) into a 2000 jeep cherokee. it wasn't until i put everything back together that i noticed unlocking the doors/turning off alarm while the remote start is running causes the remote start to shut off. i assume it is a feed back from locks . just wondering if anyone has had a similar happening and what they found to be the best solution.         thanks

sounds like a safety feature of the unit...read thru the instructions and see if you can program this out.  doesn't seem right...

Double check all your ignition wires on the system. You may also have a faulty CPU as well
