Hi,

Ok, I know that if the car is remotely started, and the hood is opened (with hoodpin switch installed),
the car will shut off.  BUT...if the car isn't running, and is armed, and they (theives) pop the hood,
does it set off the alarm like it would if you opened a door or the trunk?

Thanks!

i thought that was the whole point.  why don't you get in the car, arm the alarm and pop the hood and find out.

yes it will sound the alarm.... try putting your window down... closing the door, setting the alarm... reaching in and flipping the hood switch ... then going out and moving the hood up so the pin makes contact... WAAAAA WAAAAAA WAAAAAA... GOD THATS LOUD!!!!!!!!!!

Oh...I guess I should have mentioned that I don't have the alarm yet...I'm researching.  Oops.  Just wanted to learn what it did first.
