Can someone please tell me where the tach wire is on a 97 Altima, I am putting in a CS400 remote starter. Thanks for your help.

it's a blue/black wire at the engine control module. The module is in the front part of the centert console

You can always use one of the wires at a fuel injector if you can get to it.

It's also green at the coil, driver's side of motor... It was a BITCH to get under the dash to find the blue/black. I've done a lot of remote starters on altimas... 95% of them worked in tachless mode. Try it out first. Might save you the headache of trying to find this wire.

tachless mode....yuck!!  if all else failes, grab an injector as stated above....tachless is nothing but dangerous in my opinion.  posted_image
