Can someone tell me hoe to wire a 524f (5 wire door actuator) to a clifford concept 100? I do have a 451M but I don't understand the wiring

not familiar with the model numbers you list, but if its a standard 5 wire actuator and you're only using a single one (rather than doing 2 or 4 doors all together), then you've got a part you don't need. Usually the green and blue wires are the lock/unlock wires (that work on a reversal rest at ground circuit). the other three wires are for a microswitch inside that allows multiple actuators in the same car to "talk". hence, if you manually operate one, they all pop electrically.

if you're replacing a dead factory actuator or only doing the driver door, you paid more for this feature (and have 3 wires) you won't use.

451 would be an easier one to use. your concept brain should have a opening on it that will accept the small plug from the 451m (green, red, blue). then you just connect the other 451m wires as follows...

purple - constant +12v

brown and white, both to ground

blue and green to actuator wires...

best way to find polarity is simply to test. twist wires together and activate alarm. the actuator should lock with arm, unlock with disarm... if it does the opposite, just switch the wires at the actuator. test again and it should work fine. once polarity is correct, solder away.
