I am in the market of buying a new truck and would like to get this one and I would like to know if anyone has put door actuators in one of these.  I know how to do it, I have done tons of other ones on other cars, but is it worth to get the door locks as a package or it is easy enough and painless to put them in!

most big trucks (including this model) have HUGE doors, so doorlock actuators are usually painfully simple.  if cost is a real concern, do the aftermarket stuff...it'll be easy if you've done them before.

Easy except for the wire run thru the molex. Its weird because the one I did accuators on had molex but my friends doesnt. The problem came into removing the molex and enlarging the holes in it without damaging the other wires. posted_image
