My brother has a 96 Mitsi Legnum, R/H drive and had an alarm installed by somebody, but they never hooked up the power lock, does anyone know where and what colours they are, i know that the switch on the drivers door uses some kind of databus system as there are only about 5 wires for all 4 power windows and locks, but I can hear relays click when the lock/unlock button is pressed and hope to tie into those somehow.

Thanks

When he manually locks the door on the driver's side, does the passenger side lock too ? If it does, then the vehicle has central door lock system and you will need to add a relay. Some of the older Mit/Plymouth/Eagle's have this system so maybe your car does too.
