anything new or different from 2003? Can I do locks and disarm at the door module or must I use a databus interface? Any insight very much appreciated- Steve

Hey Steve,Use the door lock interface with this vehicle as it will save you time on installation. Also it will auto roll up your windows to boot when locked.'03 & '04 are the same.

Ya the module is a MAJOR timesaver. Also what a lot of people don't know, there is a 3rd ignition is this truck. It's an 18 gauge pink, top of the black plug where all the wire go around the steering column. If it's not powered up it causes havoc in the bcm. We found out the hard way after doing our first 03 and it came back. Thank god we serviced the dealer that fixed it. Hope that helps.

Gotta love those databus modules. Besides that the rest of the wiring is the same as the 03's

Never hooked up this 3rd Ignition and we've done hundreds of these. What's the story? What codes? (Actual Code Numbers) Dealer could be pulling your chain!
