I installed a Python 880XP in a German Spec 92 BMW 525i, the thing that is strange about this car (and I've seen this on a couple of other BMW's) is that it requires you to turn the key twice to lock/unlock the vehicle. Basically it locks then unlocks then you turn the key again to lock, and vice versa. I've tried quite a bit to stop it from doing this but what I'm wondering is does anyone know of a module/way to perform a delayed (15+ second) double pulse for the door locks?

If anyone has any ideas I'd sure appreciate it.

I don't know if this would work for your application but it is something to investigate. It is a DEI part 452t door lock pulse generator:

Another module that may help you is the 528T Pulse timer Relay:

Maybe if you are able to clarify exactly what the system is doing i can help you come up with something to bypass your locking problem
