who has aladdin a2000, weird functions?

ok does anyone of you have the domelight running properly, like if i disarm and arm it right back, the light still stays on for 30 sec NOT 8 sec as advertised.

also does the 1st stage shock for you guys just emits the regular siren but for a shorter (5 sec only) time? like my old alarm gave me 5 quick beeps as a prewarn for 1st stage shock but aladdin gives me full siren for 5 sec.

You have to change the programming for the siren to emit a pulsed signal to the siren instead of a constant signal. Look at page 21 of your Owner's manual to change this function. As far as the dome light supervision, how long does it stay on for when you just DISARM the system ?

but the pulsed will be pulsed when the shock#2 or full alarm rings.. i want the beeps when shock#1 and full constant siren for shock#2 and full alarm... it's not possible eh?

well the domelight stays on for 30 sec.. not 8.. and it does'nt turn off if you arm it right away after disarming it

You got it... the siren is either or, but not both. You have to choose which one of the 5 programmable siren chirps you want. As for the domelight staying on for 30 seconds, try to wait 8 seconds or after the dome light shuts off before you re-arm and see if it does the same thing.
