Installed a prestige aps-785 into a 90 Suburban. Now the daytime running lights don't switch automatically to regular headlights at night. We had taken out a clifford avantguard III. Perhaps the headlights turn on feature was a part of the old system?

I doubt a Suburban from 90 would have headlights that come on automatically. I do know that the AG4 has nightvision (auto headlights), and I believe the AG3 does too. Did you notice any wires connected to the headlight wires when you removed the old system?

I made a mistake. It was a 96 Suburban, and yes I did disconnect a wire to the headlights. Another feature that stopped working acording to the customer is that he says the radio used to stay on until he opened the door and now it doesn't.
