I put a Viper 550ESP remote start alarm on my 1992 Ford explorer and when i remote start the vehicle everything works great but i noticed the battery lite is on until I use the key and turn on the ignition on then it turns off.
Is some thing wrong or do they all do that.

Also i bought A guide from ebay telling me what color wire's is what. But i noticed The guide only showed one (output to Ignition Circuit.

Thanks

Sounds like you still need to energize another igntion wire.

Information that I have shows 3 ignition wires altogether.

Ignition #1 - RED / Light Green
Ignition #2 - Gray / YELLOW (14 AWG)
Ignition #3 - Gray / YELLOW (2 Wires)

I have an old wire database program. To do it right you'll probably want to energize both wires.

Page 16 on the install guide shows you how to use the Blue/Black (-) wire output to drive a relay to energize your third ignition wire.

Good luck, hope this helps you!
