Just installed one of these in an 04 g35 coupe and i know i have the correct tach wire when i go thru the programing menu so it can learn the tach every thing goes fine the lights start flashing indicating it is reading a tach signal when i push the valet button so it can program the siran does not chirp indicating it has learned the tach signal and if i exit programing mode and try to use the remote start it wont start and flashes the code indicating the tach has not been learned .works fine in voltage sensing mode but prefer to use tach mode Thanks in advance.

Not sure on your model but others the hood switch needs to be cycled to finalize the learning of tach wire.

If that suggestion above doe not work, try an injector wire instead.
