Hello there. I just had an autopage 850lcd alarm/remote start installed on my 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix.  Install guys have not been very helpfull at all.

I have diagnosed the problem as follows: Once the BCM goes to sleep mode:

 1) 15 minutes after car has shut down

OR

30 seconds if car has shut down and door has opened/closed)

the remote says a door is open, even though they are closed??  At all other times (i.e. within the 15 minutes in #1 or 30 seconds in number 2 or if car is running, it correctly states all doors are closed.  AI think it is the 12+ voltage drop from the sleep mode.  Any way wiring for the door triggers (tan and drk blue) without worrying about the bcm shutting down????

thanks a bunch!!!!

Ased

These are negative trigger wires, correct, so they are resting at +12v when doors are closed. This +12v rest state drops once it enters the "sleep mode", but do the wires show continuity to ground at any time other than when the doors are open?
