I have my DEI 528t hooked up just like the diagram is showing.  The yellow wire is hooked to the 12v constant, and the striped wire is hooked to the pulse.  THe brown wire is hooked to the dome lights.

The relay clicks and clicks again after 30 seconds, but it NEVER sends power to teh dome lights.  They NEVER come on.  WTF is with this thing??

can you send the installion instructions?
I don't think think the yellow wire shold be hooke up to constant. The circuit uses a negative trigger to activate dome light. What do the orange adn blue wires do?

First thing, isolate the 528T by connecting the yellow wire to ground. This will eliminate any problems resulting from the relay. Next, instead of using the unlock output from the alarm, simply touch the BLACK/ stripe wire to ground to activate the 528T. If you you have the brown output from the 528T tapped into your door trigger, this should illuminate your dome light for the set time. Make sure that the black wire is grounded properly and you have +12V constant supply on the red wire, if there is a fuse in-line on the module wiring, make sure you test the wire between the fuseholder and the module. Set your modules timer to the middle. Try this out and send a post with results.

OK.

Well, i was looking under the 528t and it appears that something inside is toasted.  Since it didnt work right to begin with, i cannot say if its something i did or if it came that way and it wasnt a new part after all.  So...i dont know.  It looks like the board has a burned up foil connection between the relay and the yellow wire.  The yellow wire is supposed to be connected to 12v constant or not connected, both of which i tried.  Oh well.....i will see if i can get it exchaged.  Ill let yall know on friday what happens.
