i intsalled a clifford iq 700 on a 2000 grand prix gtp. and i was wondering if anyone had ever ran into the problem of a door trigger changing polarity. and if so how did you get around this.  what happens is that the doors are listed as (-) trigger which they are. only problem is that about 5 minutes after armed and the doors close the voltage drops on the door trigger  to 0.4 volts which causes the alarm to trigger.  this also happens with the factory trunk pin switch. however, once the domelight is turned on and turned off manually from inside the vehicle the voltage on the door trigger jumps back up to 12 volts and it acts as a (-) trigger again. but about 5 minutes later drops back down. i found a way around this but its ghetto rigged big time. i know there is a right way to get around this. please help. thanks

The vehicle has the RAP system in it. ( Retained Accessory Power ) You have to bypass this. Email me for a schematics for bypass.
