I'm looking to install a keyless entry, alarm, remote starter combo on my 2002 Frontier. 

Are there any brands to steer clear of...?

What brands/models would you recomend.  I'd like to hear from anyone that has any info that would help me make the right choice.

My Nissan Frontier has an Auto transmission and no power locks or windows, although I have installed solenoids for the lock/unlock feature.

I think I would like a two way LCD system that lets me know the truck actually started.

the best combo i think would be the viper 790xv. it has the lcd remote and comes with a module that allows the doorlock output to be hooked up to actuators.
