Will the DEI 555X work on this vehicle so i dont have to bury a key in the install ????

According to my notes, this year vehicle does not require a bypass module.

according to techsoft it does. Do you know what makes and year toyotas/lexus' the 555x covers? ive done a couple of the rx's before but they were newer, so im not sure about a 98

To see if this does have the Immobilizer or not go get a blank key cut and see if the car starts for you or not. Cost is about $ 1 . ------------- Jeff

even cheapoer than that, would be to hot wire the car, and see if you can start it without a key near the IGN barrel...

I am pretty sure this car needs an immobilizer bypass. I dont think you will be able to get by not burying a key.

alls i need to know is if a DEI555x will work on a lexus rx300, im sure it does have as immobilizer key, but ive never used the new 555x so if anyone has used one on a lexus rx let me know, thanks
