99 blazer. the security light stays on. Happened during installation of remote starter. whats the step by step on how to reprogram the passlock?

i called GM.
1st turn ingintion on (power to radio)15 to 20 min.
2nd turn off car count to three
3rd start

How did you bypass the system?

Have you uninstalled the bypass to see if that solves the light problem?

If your bypass cuts the yellow passlock starter wire, then try reconnecting it. That should cure it.
