I just installed the DEI551T toDEI800HF, I connected the yellow output to the yellow input of the host system, but it does not bypass the host system. This is on a 1994 Honda Accord. Could it be bad module. Thanks for the help.

Did you go through the start up sequence when exiting the car for remote start ?? The 551T is a manual transmission module is it not ??

Isnt the 551T actually just a  Valet remote start?
