Hi,

I was told that a 2-amp diode is needed to wire my RKE to a rocker switch.  Now, what voltage spec do I need for that 2-amp diode?

Radio Shack has some that are rated up to 1000 and more volts.  It seems that'll work, but will that hurt anything?  Do they make any

2-amp, 12-volt diodes?

Thanks,
Simpson

No they don't. I think lowest voltage is 50V. And it will not hurt anything. You just have big margin. Don't worry.posted_image
