does anyone know if the pc interface kit costs more or less than the bitwriter? and which is easier to use? where can i find these at a good price? my distributor doesnt carry either one.

I know the bit writter doesn't cost much, it is aroud 50.00 and it works real well when you move from car to car.

Honestly I wouldn't even consider buying the pc kit. If you have a laptop then it would be "tolerable". When I went to dealer training the bitwriter cost me $35 bucks, I think retail is about $100.

At Autotechs.com you can get the 998T bitwriter for $75.
