I know this may be a dumb question , But here goes,,, I just got a Pontiac Bonneville 1997 and I would like tho find out if it has a keyless entry ? Does the car have a receiver that I can locate or is it built into the BCM???  Can I Add a factory unit from a scrap yard ???? Does it require extra wiring that may not be in the car??  Any help or information Would be great   Robert

Most of those came with factory keyless entry.  With the costs of new key fobs, and gettng them programmed, you would be better of going with an aftermarket system.  There are plenty of them on Ebay, usually for 35.00 or cheaper.  That care is somewhat easy to install.  Here is a link for one on Ebay, good seller, good product, I use the same model for my installs.
