I have seen 3 different color schemes posted for the TACH wire in a 2000 Cavalier.

On the coil pack (? 4 spark plug wires join here ?) there is a 6 pin connector and a two pin connector. The six pin DOES have a white wire. Is this the tach? OR, where should I connect this signal wire to?

Thanks in advance.

easiest place to get a tach sensor is from the fuel injectors. all the injects have at one of the same color and the other wire is a unique from all injector, grab any of this unique wire.

I agree, the injector wire is the easiest and most reliable signal on the Cavalier
