Hey there people I have a 2002 honda civic with the Karr alarm model 2040. I got the diagram a couple of months ago and compare it to the color wires that I have some of it match up and some don't. But anyway my question for today is when I arm my alarm the chirp is coming from the stock horn of the car I wanted to add a siren to it and i've tried connecting the horn input (+) to the horn output (-) but it not working is there another way to do this. Please help

-yo, if you have the DEI techsoft diagram, then all the wires are correct. i just did a 03 civic which are the samthing.

-the output for the siren will mostly likely to be a positive or always. you cant have two diff polarity together, it will short your unit out. what you have to do is reserve the polarity by using a relay. take sometime to study the relay on this site, it will help you understand better. but below ill will specify the reverse polarity for ya.

86-input horn(+)
85-ground
30-ground
87-horn output(-)
