What is up with the horn trigger on these cars(ram, caravan, grand caravan, voyager, town&country, etc.) I have been installing on them since when they came out.The only tech sheet I got from my company said to grab the horn at the horn(grn/red behind driver head light etc.)because they said some of the different sub-models(i.e.CARAVAN LE,CE.EL) will not always trigger the horn from under the dash ,so you have to go out under the hood.
Can some one shed any light on this situation? I am wondering if any one has any ideas?

Remember (there are no hard cars, some just take longer to install on then others)
These systems require just a tad longer ground signal to get them to chirp.(I assume that is where the problem lies , not panic mode). Under the hood is the easiest solution I've found. I have gotten it to work consistantly with some capacitor work, put it took to long to nail the right value. I have also heard that using just a relay extends the time long enough, but haven't had a chance to try that yet.

Hello christophe , you are saying that you are tagging the horn under the hood, thats what I said I am trying to get away from.Every time I prep the damn harness I have to add a relay for the horn output I so want to find a way to get a nice negative trigger from the ignition harness.(Hey everybody if you think I am just whinning,so would you if you had to do 20-30 of these a week)
