I am trying to install my alarm which has a remote starter and keyless entry.  do i have to open up the door to hook up the keyless entry?  also, will i find most of the wires to hook up to under the dash?  does anyone know where i can get a detailed picture or drawing of the process. or maybe a step by step on this? any info is greatly appreciated.

heres the link for the diagram

-you do not have to open the door for keyless entry, but you might need to disarm the factory alarm. look at link above.
-just read the manual closely and follow it, its not too bad. just plug and chug!
-almost all wires will be under the dash and the toe kick on the driver side.
-take your time, and post your results or problems

good luck!!!
BTW, what kind of alarm r u instlalin?

what about the 555U bypass.  is that really necessary?

follow the notes on that diagram, its pretty helpful.
yes, you need this bypass to complete the remote start.
however, you can just place the key next to the key cylinder (lol, this dude this that and it works).

good luck....
