Hi everybody,

I am new to here and new to car security too. Just a question. I saw many wiring diagram of car alarm system. How can those alarm system detect hood open without using hood pin ?

I ask because some alarm system offer signal input to hood pin while other alarm system do not have it.

Please give me some hints. Thanks.

Some vehicles come with a hood pin from the factory.
