Subject: Heater AC control by remote alarm?

Hi Everyone,
I have a MANNIX alarm system installed in my SC400. So far there isn’t a way I can turn on my HEATER/AC on. The alarm doesn’t have any Accessory wire like other alarms system. This alarm is fully program by the remote. It has the output for Defrost and AUX 1 & 2 for custom installation that can be control by the remote. My car have auto Climate control heater/ac. Is there a way I can use one of the wire from aux 1 or 2 to turn on my heater/ac? Please provide for me some information on how I can connect the relay to turn on my heater/ac. Any help would be nice. Thank You
Henry

If it is a negative trigger from the alarm you would hook up as follows.

#87 - 12volts

#85 - 12volts

#86 - Negative trigger from remote start(aux1 or aux2)

#30 - To your heat wire

If it is a positive trigger from the alarm you would hook up as follows

#87 - 12volts

#85 - Negative ground

#86 - Positive trigger from remote start(aux1 or aux2)

#30 - To your heat wire

HOPE IT HELPS

find out what accy wire turns the heater on.  then use a relay (as listed above) to drive that circuit.  check your programming and see if the brain will keep a signal to the relay once the key takes over or if you have to shut it off with the remote then turn it on from the dash.

what good is heat/ac when the engine isn't running?  I read its an alarm-only system....if engine not running, heat will be cold and ac will be warm...all you're doing is powering the blower essentially..

did I miss something?

Why are you asking about your heat and ac(climate control) if you dont even have a remote start. You are very misleading in what it is you need help with. I am just trying to figure out why you would be trying to power up that circuit with only a alarm.
