I installed a DEI 529T to open and close the sunroof of my 97 honda accord ex. Everything works on it, however I am using a 30-second timed 4th channel so I can press the channel 4 button one time to open the sunroof and front 2 windows all the way down. The windows stop rolling down automatically when they are at the bottom, but when the sunroof is all the way open, the 529T keeps sending 12v to the motor causing it to keep trying to open the sunroof, until the 30 seconds is up and the 4th channel stops outputting ground. For some reason the safety circuitry isnt stopping the motor. Anybody know what Im doing wrong?

You may have a faulty window module. Bring it back to the place you got it from and tell them that you want a replacement before you burnout the motor.

this is just a guess, i don't know without seeing it but... if there is a factory module that detects and controls the sunroof, perhaps you've hooked up the fourth channel after that module so it can't stop the output after the sunroof is all the way open, but if you install the fourth channel output before the module then perhaps it will cut out the ground even if it's still getting a signal sortof like the problems people have when installed window mods on cares that already have one touch windows

Another possibility is to check the resistance setting on the sunroof module. Try reducing it to a lower setting. I had a similar problem with my 530T modules and my windows. I reduced the resistance on the module and it fixed it. But also don't disregard omegamotorsprts' comments either.
