I have installed an alarm system on a 1995 GMC Yukon, and,  I am blowing the fuse for the dome lights.  It didnt blow the fuse right off the bat, it seemed to take a day, then it started blowing fuses.  The system had me install a relay for dome light supervison, so when the doors unlocked, it turns on the light for 30 sec.  But, in the owners manual, not the installers manual, it mentions that if the truck HAS dome light supervison already on it, which I assume it does, as when I use the GMC remote to unlock the doors, it turns on the light inside, the owners manual says do NOTconnect the dome light wire if your vehicle already has dome light supervison, might this be the reason its blowing the fuse?

Thanks

What wire did you connect to in the truck? And where in the truck did you get it from?  How did you wire your relay?
