Harada remote car starter with alarm (model #: HCS870)
Wondering, does anyone have an installation manual with programming? I need it to troubleshoot an existing installation.

Can someone help me? I need an INSTALLATION MANUAL to troubleshoot this existing alarm starter in a 97 Nissan Altima. The customer had this HARADA HCS870 alarm starter installer on 98. The alarm starter works great for a number of years. Recently, he noticed that the remote sometimes doesn't reponded to the vehicle and doesn't remote start. Now, the remote doesn't work at all.

Does anyone here worked on Harada products? I really needs the Installation Manual for this vehicle. I wanted to know if the remote starter is bad or the remote control is bad. Customer doesn't want to buy a new system until I gave him an answer.

We sell harada's the company acutally went out of business, we bought all of there old keyless entries and starters, but no combos, I doubt the programming is the same, but ill look at a manual tomorrow at work for u, what style remote do they have? let me know. Eric

well, the remote has three button on it and have an antenna on it. I can pull out the antenna for more range. I searched the internet and some site have the 2 way paging alarm starter combo. HCS900 is two way paging but it doesn't have much info on the site.
It's pretty hard tried to tell a customer that his alarm starter combo manufacturer no longer in business.
