I have a Polarstart with a two-button remote and have disconnected the car battery for replacement. After I replaced the car battery the car will not start from the remote. Does anyone have instructions for reprogramming the remote frequency?

What models do you have? How old is the Polarstart? If you tell us more than we might be able to help, is it?

unplug the unit and plug it back in first if that does not work then check fuses, if not the heres the sequence for most polarstart.

to program remote, flip hood pin 2 times, then turn the key to the ignition setting the back off 3 times, then press # 1 on the remote you want programed

ps dont forget to program tach and your settings in the brain

You said you had a two button remote, so prob a ps2600...

If it has a toggle switch and not a push button, then open the hood, turn the switch to off, turn the key on, and then the switch on, then press lock twice.

Anything older then a ps3015 programs this way, otherwise, its the way 'Sir_sol' said.
