I have a 1994 Acura Integra 4 door, alarm is DEI Valet model 554R.

There is no wire specifically for the trunk trigger in the installation instructions.  I know which wire in the car pertains to the trunk but, don't know what to hook it up to.  I have wires for trunk release but, not for alarm trigger.

Can I splice the trunk onto the doors?

does the car have a light that comes on in the trunk?  if so, set the unit to use "current sensing" and it'll see the hood and trunk opening, if lights come on.  Otherwise, you'll have to install a pinswitch in the trunk (and hood if u like), and run it to the "instant trigger" input on the unit (usually blue on DEI).
